Melbourne hosts special screening to celebrate Indian cinema

Indian cinema took the spotlight at a special screening recently organized by Dr Sushil Kumar, Consul General of India in Melbourne, in partnership with the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). The event brought together film lovers and dignitaries for an evening dedicated to India’s rich cinematic heritage.
The gathering featured an esteemed guest list, including Ruth Baird, Director of DFAT-Tasmania, members of the Consular Corps, and representatives of the Indian diaspora in Tasmania. Their presence highlighted the growing appreciation of Indian films across different cultural communities in Australia.
