UNSW commemorates Gandhi Jayanti with cleanliness call

Consul General Dr. S. Janakiraman, alongside the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of New South Wales (UNSW), senior faculty, and students, commemorated Gandhi Jayanti at UNSW on October 2.

During the observance, Dr. Janakiraman paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and highlighted his enduring legacy of non-violence and integrity. He emphasized the significance of cleanliness in daily life, linking it to the Indian government’s Swachh Bharat Mission, which aims to promote sanitation and hygiene across the country.
