The newly appointed, all-women Management Committee of Rajasthani Kutumb of WA, led by President Sangita Bansal, recently met with Consul General Amarjeet Singh Takhi. They discussed their vision for promoting Rajasthani culture in Western Australia. The committee outlined plans to highlight Rajasthani art and heritage through community events, as well as initiatives aimed at boosting tourism to Rajasthan.
Key topics also included increasing engagement with local youth and students and supporting India’s environmental missions, particularly the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam tree-planting initiative and Mission LIFE, a program focused on sustainable living. The meeting emphasized the Rajasthani Kutumb’s commitment to fostering cultural pride and environmental awareness within the diaspora.
