Kerala tourism looks to attract Australian travellers with Melbourne B2B meeting

The Consul General Dr Sushil Kumar attended a Kerala Tourism B2B meeting held in Melbourne on October 31, 2024, aimed at promoting Kerala as a premier travel destination. Biju K., Secretary of Kerala Tourism, provided an insightful overview of the state’s attractions and potential for Australian tourists.
Around 48 tour operators and travel agents from both Australia and India engaged in discussions on how to enhance Kerala’s appeal to Australian travellers. This collaborative event underscored the growing interest in Kerala’s scenic backwaters, unique culture, and rich heritage, and marked a step forward in strengthening tourism ties between Australia and India.
