Consulate donates Hindi books to support language learning in Western Australia

Perth, April 24 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

The Consulate General of India in Perth has donated Hindi language books to community organisations in Western Australia, in a move aimed at promoting language learning and preserving cultural heritage among the Indian diaspora.

The books were provided to the Hindi Language School WA for both children and adult learners, supporting ongoing efforts to encourage the study and use of Hindi within the community.

In addition, Hindi language books were also donated to the Hindi Samaj HSWA to assist in its cultural and community initiatives. The contribution is expected to strengthen programmes focused on promoting Hindi language and heritage.

Officials noted that such initiatives play an important role in sustaining linguistic and cultural connections among the Indian community in Australia, particularly for younger generations growing up abroad.

The Consulate’s outreach reflects its continued engagement with community organisations in Western Australia, aimed at fostering cultural awareness and supporting educational initiatives within the diaspora.
