The Bihar Jharkhand Sabha of Australia and New Zealand organized the Diwali Milan celebrations, recently. Consul General Amarjeet Singh Takhi joined the celebration along with other guests and conveyed his greetings to the community members. He also greeted them on commemoration of the Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, making the commencement of the 150th Birth Anniversary Year celebrations of Dharti Abha Bhagwan Birsa Munda, requesting them to conserve the tribal heritage, while acknowledging the huge contributions of the tribal society in the ancient medical system of India and their fight to protect Indian culture and independence. The Consul General also thanked the BJSM Committee and the volunteers for their overwhelming support in showcasing the cultural richness and traditions of the states of Bihar and Jharkhand at the recently-held Fusion Multicultural Festival in the City of Gosnells.
