AIBC joins in commemorating Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary

The Australia India Business Council (AIBC) participated in the commemoration of the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the revered founder of Sikhism, recently.
Organized by the Australian-Indian Sports Educational & Cultural Society (AISECS) and hosted at the parliament of New South Wales (NSW), this event celebrated Guru Nanak Dev’s profound teachings, which continue to resonate across cultures and generations. The Gurus enduring messages of truthfulness, selfless service, equality, and harmony with nature serve as a guiding light.
This special gathering also highlighted the invaluable contributions of the Sikh community in Australia, whose values and achievements enrich our multicultural society and exemplify the spirit of inclusion and diversity.
Consul General of India, Sydney Dr. Janakiraman Sarvesvaran, Daniel Mookhey MP, Treasurer of NSW and Gurmesh Singh MP Deputy Leader of NSW Nationals addressed the audience on the occasion. They emphasized the significance of Guru Nanak Dev legacy.
Events like these strengthen the bonds between Australia and India, fostering unity and mutual understanding, and AIBC is proud to be part of such efforts.
