Australia and India strengthen mining ties at Sydney industry seminar

The Consulate General of India in Sydney, in partnership with the Australia India Business Council, hosted a successful ‘Mining & METS Industry Seminar and Networking Session’ on October 29, 2024. The event saw the participation of a delegation led by the Secretary of India’s Ministry of Mines, which included key representatives from major Indian mining companies.
The session brought together around 20 mining and METS (Mining Equipment, Technology, and Services) companies from New South Wales, fostering collaboration and growth opportunities between the two countries. The High Commissioner, Consul General, and Associate Director of Investment NSW also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the shared goals of innovation and sustainability in the mining sector.
