‘World’s most popular leader’: JP Nadda, Jitendra Singh extend birthday wishes to PM Modi

New Delhi, Sep 17 (IANS) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on Wednesday was marked with warm wishes from Union ministers and nationwide celebrations, as leaders hailed his transformative leadership and contributions to India’s growth.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda described PM Modi as the “world’s most popular leader”, wishing him a long and healthy life. He praised the Prime Minister’s efforts in empowering all sections of society and advancing the vision of a self-reliant India.

“I extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the birthday of the world’s most popular leader, the architect of a new India, the esteemed Prime Servant Narendra Modi ji,” Nadda said on social media platform X.

Highlighting Modi’s guiding motto of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all, Efforts of all), Nadda added, “Under your visionary leadership, our nation’s spiritual and cultural heritage has gained global recognition. Your guidance is an inspiration for all of us, especially countless BJP workers. May God bless you with excellent health and a long life.”

Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh called PM Modi a visionary leader who reshaped India’s global image and placed the country firmly on the path to becoming a developed nation.

“On this special day, my heartfelt tribute to the visionary who transformed India’s global standing. From #Vadnagar to the world stage, his journey personifies resilience, determination, and commitment to nation-building,” Singh posted on X. “Wishing PM Narendra Modi ji a very Happy Birthday — a leader who turned aspirations into achievements and set India on the course of #ViksitBharat.”

Union Minister of State for Ayush Prataprao Jadhav also wished PM Modi, calling his life a symbol of service and determination. “Your leadership has given India a new identity on the global stage and paved the way for realising the dreams of millions of Indians,” he said.

Union Minister of State for Health Anupriya Patel echoed the sentiment, describing Modi as the “pioneer of New India construction and the architect of Atmanirbhar Bharat–Viksit Bharat.”

The Prime Minister’s birthday is being observed with a wave of celebrations across the country, including welfare, health, and development drives.

Later in the day, PM Modi will visit Bhainsola village in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, to lay the foundation stone of India’s first PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park—a major boost for the textile sector. He will also launch two key national campaigns: ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ (Healthy Women, Empowered Families) and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month).

From September 17 to October 2, over one lakh health camps will be organised nationwide under these initiatives, marking India’s largest-ever health outreach campaign for women, children, and adolescents.
