Mumbai, Aug 29 (IANS) — Actress Shilpa Shetty paid a heartfelt tribute to late superstar Sridevi, channelling her iconic Chandni look in a bright yellow chiffon saree.
Shilpa shared a reel on Instagram where she posed gracefully during a photoshoot, set to the instrumental title track of Yash Chopra’s 1989 classic Chandni, which starred Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor.

Chandni, regarded as one of Yash Chopra’s signature romantic musicals, featured Sridevi in one of her most memorable roles as Chandni Mathur. The film also starred Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, Waheeda Rehman, and Anupam Kher, and is remembered for its timeless music, grandeur, and emotional depth.
On the work front, Shilpa was last seen in Sukhee, a slice-of-life comedy-drama about rediscovering oneself. She will next appear in KD: The Devil, a Kannada action drama directed by Prem, alongside Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, and Nora Fatehi.
