Shah Rukh Khan to PM Modi on b’day: At 75, your energy leaves even young people like us behind

Mumbai, Sep 17 (IANS) – Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan on Tuesday extended warm birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, praising his journey and lauding the remarkable energy he continues to display at 75.

In a video message, SRK said in Hindi: “On the 75th birthday of the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, I would like to wish him a very happy birthday.”

Reflecting on Modi’s rise from humble beginnings to the global stage, the actor described it as deeply motivating. “Your journey shows discipline, hard work, and dedication towards the nation. It is truly inspiring,” he noted.

The actor affectionately known as Bollywood’s “Badshah” added: “At 75, your pace and energy leave even young people like us behind. I pray for your continued health, strength, and happiness.”

On the work front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in a cameo in The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, a satirical action-comedy web series marking the acting debut of his son Aryan Khan. Produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, the series features Lakshya Lalwani, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, Gautami Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, and others.

SRK is also gearing up for King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The high-octane drama stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Anil Kapoor, and Abhay Verma. The film will see Shah Rukh share screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time, with Abhishek Bachchan essaying the antagonist.
