Seminar on women’s health and ageing held for International Women’s Day

Consul Neeraj Kumar participated in a seminar on Women’s Health and Ageing organised by the Federation of Indian Associations of WA Inc (FIAWA) to mark International Women’s Day.

The event brought together members of the Indian community in Western Australia to discuss key issues related to women’s health, ageing, and wellbeing. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the health challenges faced by women and the importance of informed care and support as they age.

Organisers said the programme was intended to encourage dialogue within the community on women’s health concerns and promote greater understanding of the need for awareness, preventive care, and support systems.

The seminar also served as an occasion to recognise the significance of International Women’s Day and to highlight the contributions and wellbeing of women in the community.

Participants engaged in discussions on health awareness and the importance of addressing issues related to ageing among women. The event concluded with interaction among attendees and community members reflecting on the importance of supporting women’s health initiatives.
