Mumbai, Nov 4 (IANS): Actress Parul Gulati has officially joined the cast of filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar’s upcoming project Tu Yaa Main, starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor in the lead roles.
The actress, who was recently spotted at the film’s wrap-up celebration, expressed her excitement about collaborating with Nambiar. “Working with Bejoy Nambiar has been on my wishlist for a long time. His storytelling carries such strong emotional depth and visual intensity, and being part of Tu Yaa Main has been an incredible experience,” Parul said.
She added, “The entire team, including Adarsh and Shanaya, brought immense energy and creativity to the set. I’m really looking forward to showcasing a completely different side of myself in this film.”
Touted as an adrenaline-fueled romantic thriller, Tu Yaa Main blends themes of love, fear, and survival. The film is produced by Colour Yellow Productions, the banner behind acclaimed titles like Tumbbad and Haseen Dillruba.
Scheduled for a Valentine’s Day 2026 release, the film promises to be a gripping, genre-defying cinematic experience.
Meanwhile, Shanaya Kapoor, who headlines Tu Yaa Main, recently began shooting in Goa with Abhay Verma for director Shujaat Saudagar’s untitled film. She will also be seen in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 alongside Kapil Sharma, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhury, and Ayesha Khan.
The sequel, directed by Anukalp Goswami and produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan under Venus Worldwide Entertainment in association with Abbas Mustan Film Production, is slated for release on December 12, 2025. Its motion poster, unveiled on October 23, teases another round of comedic chaos in Kapil’s life involving four brides.
The first film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon? (2015), marked Kapil Sharma’s Bollywood debut and featured Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Fadnis, Elli AvrRam, Varun Sharma, and Supriya Pathak.
Parul Gulati, known for her performances in P.O.W. – Bandi Yuddh Ke, Selection Day, and Girls Hostel, will also appear in the upcoming web series Donali, sharing screen space with Divyendu and Barun Sobti.
Directed by E. Niwas, Donali is set against the rugged backdrop of Chambal in the 1960s and also features Chunky Pandey, Yashpal Sharma, and others. The series has been extensively shot across Madhya Pradesh.
