Namaste India Festival to celebrate culture and community in Brisbane

The Consulate General of India, Brisbane has announced the hosting of the Namaste India Festival, an event dedicated to celebrating Indian culture, colours, and community in Brisbane.

The festival will be held on January 25, 2026, and will feature a range of workshops and interactive sessions highlighting the richness of Indian culture and artistic traditions. The programme aims to provide participants with an opportunity to engage closely with India’s diverse cultural heritage.

The event will take place at Level 12, 301 Coronation Drive, Milton, QLD 4064, and is expected to draw members of the Indian diaspora as well as the wider community.

According to organisers, the Namaste India Festival forms part of the Consulate’s continued efforts to promote cultural understanding and foster stronger community connections through meaningful cultural initiatives.
