Mumbai, Aug 29 (IANS) — Actress and fitness icon Malaika Arora has opened up about her mantra for staying confident even on low-energy days, stressing the importance of balance and self-acceptance.
“I remind myself it’s okay to have off days. Moving my body, practicing gratitude, and owning my flaws always bring me back to center,” Malaika told IANS.
Known for her trendsetting fashion choices, Malaika said comfort always takes precedence over glamour. “For me, glamour should never come at the cost of comfort. True style is when you can walk into a room looking stunning but still feel like yourself,” said the diva, who is also the brand ambassador for HYUE.
Malaika began her career as an MTV VJ before making a mark in modeling, advertisements, and music videos. She rose to fame with chartbusters like Chaiyya Chaiyya from Dil Se… (1998) and later featured in hit numbers such as Maahi Ve (2002), Kaal Dhamaal (2005), and Munni Badnaam Hui (2010). She has also acted in films like Kaante (2002) and EMI (2008).
On television, she has been a judge on popular shows including India’s Got Talent, India’s Best Dancer and MTV Supermodel of the Year.
A passionate advocate of health and fitness, Malaika practices yoga daily and often shares wellness tips on social media. Recently, she posted a video demonstrating the Surya Namaskar, highlighting its holistic benefits and step-by-step execution.
