Indian jute shines in Sydney: Buyer-seller meet showcases innovation

The Indian Jute Products Development & Export Promotion Council (JPDEPC) hosted a Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) in Sydney under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme of the Government of India. The event provided a platform for Indian companies to showcase their innovative jute products to potential Australian buyers.
Consul (Commercial) at the Consulate General of India in Sydney Nirav Sutariya inaugurated the meet and engaged with the exhibitors. He emphasized the immense opportunities for Indian jute in the Australian market, reflecting on its eco-friendly and sustainable appeal.
The exhibition featured a diverse array of products, ranging from stylish and functional jute bags to innovative, environmentally-conscious offerings tailored to Australian consumers. The meet highlighted India’s commitment to promoting sustainable trade and strengthening bilateral ties through eco-friendly innovations.
This BSM marks a significant step toward expanding Indian jute exports and fostering sustainable trade relationships with Australia.
