Consul General pays homage to war heroes on Remembrance Day

Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar paid homage to fallen soldiers at Melbourne’s Shrine of Remembrance during a solemn Remembrance Day service held recently. Representing the Indian community, Dr. Kumar joined veterans, dignitaries, and local residents in commemorating the sacrifices of those who served in past conflicts.
Dr. Kumar laid a wreath in honour of the war heroes, reflecting on the shared values of bravery and dedication that connect India and Australia. Speaking afterward, he highlighted the importance of Remembrance Day as a time to honour those who fought for peace and freedom, underscoring the significance of international unity and respect for military service.
