Coffees of India pavilion draws attention at Melbourne Expo

India’s coffee industry was prominently showcased at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) 2026, with the Coffees of India pavilion emerging as a key attraction for visitors and industry participants.

The pavilion was inaugurated by Consul General Amarjeet Rajan and Coffee Board Secretary Kurma Rao M in the presence of exhibitors and stakeholders. The display highlighted the diversity and quality of Indian coffee, positioning it strongly in the international market.

Organised at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 26 to 28, the expo brought together global coffee professionals, offering a platform for networking and business development. The Indian pavilion enabled visitors to experience a range of coffee varieties, distinctive flavours and evolving trends within the sector.

Officials noted that participation in such international events plays a crucial role in expanding market access and promoting India’s coffee globally. The initiative also reflected increasing interest among Australian consumers and businesses in Indian coffee products.

The presence at MICE 2026 is expected to further strengthen trade linkages and open new opportunities for collaboration in the coffee industry between India and Australia.
