Mumbai, Aug 25 (IANS) – The makers of “Love in Vietnam” have unveiled the film’s first trailer, offering a glimpse into a story that celebrates old-school romance while exploring love’s emotional highs and lows.
The trailer introduces audiences to the tender yet tumultuous love story between Avneet Kaur and Shantanu Maheshwari, featuring moments of passion, heartbreak, and reconciliation. Billed as the first-ever India-Vietnam co-production, the film captivates with stunning visuals, soulful music, and an on-screen chemistry that feels both gentle and electric.
Its songs have already resonated with listeners, evoking the innocence of first love and deep emotional connection. The trailer further teases a narrative that transcends cultures and borders, speaking through glances and silences as much as through its melodies.
Directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi, the film also stars acclaimed Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan, recognised among Asia’s 100 most beautiful women. Adding gravitas are veteran performers Farida Jalal, Raj Babbar, and Gulshan Grover, who lend their timeless screen presence.
Inspired by Sabahattin Ali’s global bestseller Madonna in a Fur Coat, “Love in Vietnam” promises an enduring love story that bridges cultures and distances.
The trailer was launched in true Bollywood style — with upbeat dhol beats, colourful bhangra, and vibrant festivities.
Presented by Zee Studios, and produced by Captain Rahul Bali, Blue Lotus Pictures, Innovations India, Rahat Kazmi Film Studios, And Productions, Zebaish Entertainment, Tariq Khan Productions, Mango Tree Entertainment, and Samten Hills, Dalat, the film is slated for a theatrical release on September 12, 2025.
