Alia Bhatt marks 3 Years Of “Brahmastra”, shares romantic stills from movie

Mumbai, Sep 10 (IANS) – Bollywood star Alia Bhatt marked the third anniversary of her fantasy epic Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva on Monday by revisiting memories from the film that changed both her professional and personal life.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Alia reshared fan artworks featuring her and co-star Ranbir Kapoor’s characters in romantic moments from the film, adding a heart emoji and the hashtag #3YearsOfBrahmastra.

Released in September 2022, the Ayan Mukerji directorial was one of the year’s most talked-about films, blending mythology with fantasy adventure on a grand scale. The movie also became special for Alia and Ranbir, as their relationship blossomed during its making. While the two kept their romance private at the time, they later confirmed their bond and tied the knot in April 2022, welcoming their daughter Raha later that year.

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions along with Star Studios, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures, Brahmastra starred Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva, a young man discovering his extraordinary powers, with Alia as Isha, his partner in the journey. The film also featured Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy, with a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.

The visually ambitious film introduced audiences to the Astraverse, a cinematic universe inspired by Indian mythology, and was widely praised for its VFX and scale. Following its success, Mukerji has already announced the next installment, Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev.
