Mumbai, Aug 28 (IANS) – Actor Akshay Oberoi has completed filming his portions for the upcoming family entertainer Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and described the experience as “incredibly fulfilling.”
Taking to Instagram, Akshay shared a heartwarming wrap-up video that included glimpses from the celebration party and the film’s poster shoot. The clip shows him dressed in stylish party attire, sharing hugs with co-stars Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, and others.
In the caption, he wrote: “Dharma Movies are known for celebrating families and the bonds between them. This was my first time working with the banner, and the shoot truly felt full of love, magic, and laughter. Here’s some #BTS capturing that same family fun. Thank you for the journey! @shashankkhaitan @karanjohar @dharmamovies.”
Reflecting on the project, Akshay said: “Being a part of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. Working with such a talented team and sharing the screen with Varun, Janhvi, and Rohit has been special. The love and energy on set were contagious, and the wrap-up day was a true reflection of the bond we built during this journey.”

Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Productions, the film features Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, and Rohit Saraf in key roles.
Apart from this project, Akshay will also be seen alongside Manoj Bajpayee and Saqib Saleem in an upcoming gritty crime drama.
The actor, who made his debut as a child in the 2002 comedy-drama American Chai, landed his first leading role with Rajshri Productions’ Isi Life Mein…! He later transitioned to television and starred in Bejoy Nambiar’s MTV series Rush. Impressed with his performance, Nambiar cast him in the Tamil remake of the suspense thriller Pizza. Akshay earned acclaim for his work in films like Laal Rang and Gurgaon.
