Bhopal, Sep 17 (IANS) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday to unveil a series of transformative programmes, with the spotlight on ‘Adi Seva Parv’, a campaign celebrating tribal pride and community service.
The initiative, launched under the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan, focuses on empowering tribal communities through health, education, nutrition, skill development, sanitation, water conservation, and environmental protection. Central to this effort are the Tribal Village Action Plan and Tribal Village Vision 2030, which set out long-term, village-specific blueprints for sustainable growth.
As part of his commitment to building a healthier India, PM Modi will also launch the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ initiative and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaign. Running from September 17 to October 2, these drives will activate more than one lakh health camps nationwide at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, CHCs, district hospitals, and other government facilities—making this the largest health outreach ever for women and children in India.
The campaign will provide screenings for anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease, alongside services in maternal and adolescent health, immunisation, menstrual hygiene, and mental health. Specialist care—including gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, and psychiatry—will be made available through medical colleges and hospitals.
Public health infrastructure will also be strengthened through blood donation drives, with registrations on the e-Raktkosh portal. Beneficiaries will be enrolled in schemes like PM-JAY, Ayushman Vaya Vandana, and ABHA, with helpdesks set up for card verification and grievance redressal. Citizens will further be encouraged to join as Nikshay Mitras, supporting TB patients with nutrition and care.
To promote holistic wellness, yoga sessions, Ayurveda consultations, and Ayush services will be conducted. PM Modi will also transfer funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana to nearly 10 lakh women, while launching the Suman Sakhi Chatbot, designed to provide maternal health guidance to women in remote areas.
In a symbolic gesture, he will present a sapling to a woman from a self-help group under the ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, inspiring more than 10,000 women to create community gardens.
Later in the day, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the PM MITRA Textile Park in Dhar. Spread over 2,150 acres, the industrial township is expected to transform India’s textile sector, attracting investment proposals worth ₹23,140 crore and creating employment for nearly three lakh people. The project will strengthen cotton farming, boost exports, and advance Modi’s 5F vision—Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, and Fashion to Foreign.
