Panel with Prof Amitabh Mattoo explores bilateral ties amid global shifts

Australia India Institute (AII)  CEO Lisa Singh was awarded a fellowship by the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA) during a panel discussion on “The Australia–India Relationship in a Changing World Order.”

The session brought together Lisa Singh and Distinguished Fellow Prof Amitabh Mattoo, who discussed the present dynamics of Australia–India relations and assessed the opportunities and challenges emerging in a rapidly evolving global environment.

The conversation highlighted the impact of changing geopolitical conditions on bilateral cooperation and underscored the need for continued engagement between the two nations.

The event was moderated by Dr Mike Moignard, with organisers describing it as a timely discussion on the future of Australia–India relations in a shifting world order.
