Kunal, Soha share glimpse of their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with daughter Inaaya

Mumbai, Aug 27 (IANS) — On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, actor-filmmaker Kunal Kemmu offered a heartwarming glimpse of his family’s celebrations with wife Soha Ali Khan and their daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu.

Taking to Instagram, Kunal posted three pictures showing the family offering prayers before a beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha. All three were dressed in traditional attire, standing together with folded hands.

Captioning the post simply with “Ganpati Bappa Morya!”, Kunal joined millions across India marking the birth of Lord Ganesha, revered as the remover of obstacles and the deity of wisdom and prosperity.

Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is celebrated with private installations of idols at home and large public festivities on elaborate pandals.

Soha and Kunal have been together since 2009, got engaged in Paris in 2014, and married in Mumbai in January 2015. They welcomed Inaaya in 2017.

Recently, on August 23, Kunal released an a cappella music video titled “Loche”, featuring only vocals and beatboxing. Sharing the clip on Instagram, he wrote: “All vocals, no instruments! Loche (acapella) out now on my YouTube channel, link in bio #WhatWeCookin #Loche.”

On the work front, Soha was last seen in the horror drama “Chhorii 2,” where she delivered a striking performance as Daasi Maa. Directed by Vishal Furia, the film, a sequel to the 2021 thriller Chhorii, starred Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead along with Gashmeer Mahajani and Saurabh Goyal. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra, it released on April 11, 2025.
