Mumbai, Oct 23 (IANS) — Megastar Amitabh Bachchan extended warm Diwali greetings to fans by sharing a beautiful family photograph featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Aaradhya Bachchan, among others.
Taking to Instagram, Big B posted the festive family portrait that also included his daughter Shweta Bachchan, son-in-law Nikhil Nanda, and grandchildren Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda.
The actor captioned the post simply yet cheerfully: “Happy 😊 + Diwali 🪔 = Happy Diwali.”
The post arrives amid persistent rumours about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s alleged separation. However, the couple has continued to make joint public appearances, subtly putting the speculation to rest.
Earlier this month, Amitabh celebrated his 83rd birthday, and Aishwarya shared a sweet birthday wish on behalf of her daughter Aaradhya. Posting a picture of the legendary actor with his granddaughter, she wrote, “Happy Birthday dearest Pa-Dadajiii. Love and God bless always.”
On the professional front, the veteran star will lend his iconic voice as the narrator for 120 Bahadur, a Farhan Akhtar-starrer inspired by the true events of the 1962 India-China war.
The announcement was made during an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, where Farhan and his father, veteran writer Javed Akhtar, appeared as guests and celebrated Big B’s birthday on set. During the show, Farhan requested the actor to narrate the opening sequence of the film, saying it would be “an honour.”
120 Bahadur — directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Amit Chandrra — has been filmed across the scenic landscapes of Ladakh. Farhan plays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who led the heroic 13 Kumaon Regiment in the Battle of Rezang La.
The film is slated to hit theatres on November 21, 2025.
