Mumbai, Oct 9 (IANS) — Actress Huma Qureshi is set to return as the fiery Rani Bharti in the upcoming season of Maharani 4, which she describes as her boldest and most intense performance to date.

Reflecting on her journey with the series, Huma said, “Rani Bharti’s story has always been about defying the odds, but this season, her ambition hits a whole new level. From homemaker to Chief Minister, she shook Bihar’s political ground. Now, she steps onto the nation’s toughest battlefield. Maharani 4 isn’t just another chapter — it’s her boldest leap yet. The stakes are national, the power games are more brutal, and every move could make or break her. This is the most daring, intense, and unfiltered version of Rani audiences will see.”

The new season also stars Shweta Basu Prasad, Vipin Sharma, Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Shardul Bharadwaj, Kani Kusruti, and Pramod Pathak. Maharani 4 will begin streaming on Sony LIV from November 7.
The acclaimed political drama’s earlier seasons chronicled Rani Bharti’s evolution from a reluctant political newcomer to a sharp, resilient leader navigating the treacherous corridors of Bihar politics. The new season promises to raise the stakes further, blending intense power struggles with realistic political intrigue.
