Chennai, Sep 10 (IANS) – Director Chandoo Mondeti’s much-anticipated epic devotional animation film has officially been titled ‘Vayuputra’, with its makers confirming a grand Dussehra 2026 release.
Unveiling the project on social media, Mondeti shared the film’s first-look posters, writing: “VAYUPUTRA – Not just a film, but a sacred spectacle! Destined to tell this tale, soul of our HISTORY, pages of our ITIHASAS! A childhood dream!!” He also expressed gratitude to Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, Sage Valmiki, his family, and producers Chinna Babu, Naga Vamsi, Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios.
‘Vayuputra’ promises to bring alive the immortal legend of Lord Hanuman – the eternal warrior whose strength, devotion, and faith have inspired generations. Blending history, mythology, and devotion with cutting-edge 3D animation, the film aims to deliver a breathtaking cinematic experience.
Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, the film will be released worldwide in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The first-look poster, depicting Hanuman standing tall on a hill overlooking Lanka in flames, sets the tone for the project’s epic scale and spiritual depth. According to the makers, ‘Vayuputra’ is envisioned as “a sacred spectacle where temples meet theatres,” offering audiences an immersive devotional journey unlike anything seen before.
