Mumbai, Aug 28 (IANS) – Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen’s younger daughter, Alisah, celebrated her 16th birthday on August 28. To mark the special occasion, her elder sister Renee Sen shared an emotional post on social media along with a series of pictures of the two together.
In her touching note, Renee wrote, “Alisah, my tiny little bunny… Happy 16th birthday, little one @alisahsen47. From being a delicate baby who once fit into my arms, to now me fitting into yours — we’ve truly come a long way! Every year, watching you grow into such a kind, empathetic young woman fills me with pride. And now you’re the School Captain — way to go!”
Expressing how fortunate she feels to have Alisah as her sister, Renee added, “Aaliyah, Ziana, and I are so lucky to be your sisters and will always cheer you on the loudest. You’re truly the best sister, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll achieve — this is just the beginning.”
Renee lovingly called Alisah her “cute little pumpkin” and admitted she still misses the days when her sister was a tiny baby in her arms. She wished Alisah a life filled with happiness, adventure, travel, and great food, saying, “My cute little squishy pumpkin! I can’t believe you’re 16 already! For those unaware, Sushmita Sen adopted Renee at the age of 24 in 2000, becoming a trailblazer in Bollywood. She welcomed Alisah into the family in 2010. The actress has often spoken about how motherhood transformed her life, with her daughters remaining the heart and priority of her world.
